
| Scott W. Klein President and Chief Executive Officer Information Resources, Inc. Scott W. Klein is president and chief executive officer of Information Resources, Inc. (IRI) and shares Office of the Chairman responsibilities with Dr. Romesh Wadhwani, chairman of IRI. In this role, Klein is responsible for global operations and charged with transforming IRI by focusing on strengthening its core business of market content and analytic services and extending services through business process management solutions.
Before joining IRI, Klein was president of consumer industries, retail and energy global industries solutions at EDS. Prior to EDS, he was president of PC Mall, Inc., an $800 million California-based telesales, catalog and Internet reseller of computer-related products. During his time with PC Mall, he restructured the company's operations, launched a profitable, growing Internet business called eCOST.com and grew sales in key business units by more than 50 percent. In addition, Klein was chief operating officer of PrimeSource Building Products, a wholesale building products distributor. During his tenure, the company grew from $12 million to nearly $1 billion.
Beginning his career in brand management with Procter & Gamble, Klein helped make Tide detergent the company's first billion-dollar brand. He also held various marketing and sales positions for PepsiCo, helping establish Pepsi as the No. 1 soft drink in the "freedom of choice" marketplace.
He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Syracuse University. |
